California Choctaw people are very proud of the fact that from his first year as Chief, Chief Greg Pyle has been coming to the gatherings to visit with the people and to tell us what is going on in the Nation. We thank Chief for his visits to the gathering.

The Choctaw Nation CHRs offer so much to the gatherings, assisting us with our health issues.

We really enjoy the Choctaw Nation Color Guard, they start off our gathering by bringing in the colors and they end the gathering retiring the colors.

The gathering means allot of work for a bunch of hard working dedicated people. The pre-gathering planning, arrangements, purchasing, setting up the grounds, working the booths, cooking the food, and cleaning up afterward you'd think the day was over for this group, but they still have a annual board meeting to attend. What a tired, but wonderful group. Setting up the ground

Liaison ~ Theresa Harrison with one of our original Board members Dutch Crew. Dutch left us to move back to Oklahoma. It was great to see him this year. 

At our 2nd gathering we had a 1'x1' Karaoke machine  for sound. Advisory Board Member Tucker Williamson, being in he music business could not handle "that" sound. So from 3rd annual on, Tucker has been seeing to it that everyone can actually hear and enjoy the sounds of the gathering.  Yakoke to our "Captured Blood" Tucker.
