2007 Labor Day Trip

 

Each year we take a group from California to Oklahoma to participate in the Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival.

We enjoy all that the Nation offers from the Music Concerts, carnival rides and the cultural events offered at the Choctaw Village.

While there we also enjoy going to some of the historical site important to Oklahoma Choctaws . Below are some pictures from this years event

We went to Wheelock Academy, the Nations capitol complex, Doaksville, Ft Towson, Broken bow, Chief Garnder's Mansion, Poteau, the Nation's hospital. the grounds at Tushks Homma, visited a few old cemeteries, saw he buffalo herd, the Choctaw Ponies, and so much more.

If you are interested in going next year please email us and we will contact you with information as the time comes near. It is for the labor day festival and we are gone for 1 week (end of Aug - labor day)

We saw Country Western Stars perform and even got some autographs (Tracy Lawrence, Trace Atliks and Sara Evens
